Start Windows Sharing to access Windows printers from Panther
Panther promises better integration with Windows, although by default I couldn't seem to find any of the shared Windows printers on my network. I could see the workgroup/domain through the print setup utility but no printers. After a quick bit of digging around, simply starting Windows Sharing (System Preferences -> Sharing) did the trick and I can now see the printers. Good stuff - no more remembering samba URLs just to print out a document and another reason to upgrade from Jaguar.
