JavaOne tip #10 : Blog it!
Last year was the first year that I wrote up anything to do with the JavaOne conference and I found it to be incredibly useful. The full list of blog entries can be found here and I blogged about many different aspects of the conference ranging from the sessions I attended to the overall atmosphere.
Apart from providing information about the conference to those that couldn't make it, I actually benefited from it too. Shortly after returning to the UK, I had to make a presentation to the rest of the company about the conference. With so much going on, if I hadn't had written it down somewhere, I would have never remembered everything. Another benefit to people blogging about the conference is that there's no way that a single person can attend every session and it's good to read about those that you didn't go to.
So, if you are going, go grab yourself a JRoller blog and start blogging! Alternatively, if you're taking a laptop, you can have Pebble up and running on Tomcat in 5 minutes. See you at the JavaOne blogger meetup!
