New theme
A new week and a new theme. I'll confess to not being the world's best web designer and recently I've been trying to come up with something that's simple enough for others of a similar disposition to maintain, while being cleaner and compatible in the major browsers. What you see here, I think, is a little bit more fresh, a little bit more "Web 2.0" and ultimately just more of a pleasure to look at.
There are a few little wrinkles to sort out here and there (mainly with respect to the admin interface) but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. Please do let me know if you see something that doesn't seem quite right, and also let me know what you think. For those of you that are Pebble users, would you like to see something like this be the default theme for Pebble 2.0?
Re: New theme
I am a relative newcomer to Pebble. I 'discovered' it in March while searching for something that would meet my wife's needs for a blogging tool in her work at NASA. She now uses Pebble there but, naturally, she has to create a theme that is in line with the NASA look and feel.
For my personal and professional blogs, I really like what you have created. I would love to have this theme available as the default when I update to Pebble 2.0. There is just something apropos about a wannabe-sysadmin-geologist using blogging software named Pebble with a picture of water-worn rocks at the edge of a stream in the masthead of his blogs.
As for suggestions, the only thing I miss from the Pebble 1.9 design is having the categories across the top. Even there, I have a feeling I would quickly get used to having them a click away as you now do.
