One person, one feed
I've thought about implementing something like The River too but, like Dion, I just don't have the time. I really like his vision of synchronizing friends across all social networks - it's a great way to solve the problem of multiple friend invites coming in from LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
The one feature I would add is a giant RSS button that allows anybody to subscribe to everything I decide to make public. At the moment, this would include my blog, my posts on Coding the Architecture, my Twitter updates, my Facebook updates, my Flickr updates, etc. Until somebody builds that all-encompassing, uber social network I think I might have to create my own uber feed using Pipes. One person, one feed.
